It’s been a while since our last Coffee Collective feature. They were one of our first roasters on the subscription and have been friends for even longer. Most of us ~coffee people~ fell down the coffee rabbit hole because a meaningful experience that, trite as it sounds, changed our lives. I’ve had a handful of those experiences and one was the first time I pulled up a stool at Coffee Collective’s Godthåbsvej location. The way Callum (then a barista and now the account manager who helped me choose this month’s featured beans) spoke about the coffees he was brewing, and the care with which he served them, was really impactful. I had a cup of Kieni and learned about the long and inspiring relationship that Coffee Collective has with those farmers in Kenya. I saw that day the potential that coffee has to connect the world and change people’s lives, and I’m excited to share that coffee with you now, all these years later. All four coffees are special. I know you’ll love them. Glædelig Jul!
